We’re not a dress-up kind of crowd. Most people wear casual attire, but you're welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

We recommend you arrive no later than 9:40am so you can grab a coffee, check your kids in, talk with friends or meet new people. Don’t forget to visit our Next Steps area to find out what’s happening within Awaken.

We have two check in stations to help the check in process run smoothly.
Awaken kids check in is on the left, immediately as you enter the front doors. Our Awaken Kids team will be there to greet you and make sure the check in process goes smoothly.

We now invite you to find your seat in the auditorium. At 9:55am we will have a 5-minute countdown.

We are big on participation. Sing, share, pray, shout “amen“, etc. At Awaken we don’t come to sit and watch but rather participate, celebrate and worship our great God and His Good News.
We typically preach verse by verse through books of the Bible so we recommend bringing your bible so you can read along and mark up your bible. If you do not own a bible we have bibles at the back of our auditorium for you to use and have.
We typically preach using the CSB translation.

Life is better when done in community! That’s why we recommend that you find someone to go out to lunch with. Be sure to find a ministry group, serve team, or community group to get connected with.

We end all of our Sunday gatherings with this saying: “Awaken, you are LOVED and you are SENT!”
We like to remind ourselves that we GATHER to SCATTER. Church is not an event for us, we are the church and Jesus has commanded the church to: LOVE God, SERVE Others and MAKE Disciples. We are passionate to live this out, EVERYDAY.

We understand showing up at a new place for the first time can be intimidating, so here’s more information about AWAKEN and what you can expect.
A FEW SUNDAY FACTS
We think Sunday mornings should be relaxing and rejuvenating. Right when you walk in, hop over to the Coffee Bar to enjoy a variety of drinks - Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
Awaken Coffee Bar
From nursery to grade school, we have a wide range of kid groups that meet Sunday mornings. We are a FAMILY INTEGRATED church, which means our K-5th grade remain in the auditorium until the sermon.
Awaken Kids
A great way to find community, use your gifts and help Awaken lead people to LOVE God, SERVE Others and MAKE Disciples is to get on a SUNDAY SERVE TEAM.

Where Should I Park?
If you are a FIRST TIME GUEST we have spots reserved for you right in front of the building.
Is Childcare Provided?
At Awaken Kids, our mission is to partner with parents to make disciples to make disciples. We desire to develop leaders who are passionately in love with Jesus. We keep our K-5th grade kids in the Sunday gathering until the sermon starts. We then dismiss them so they can gathering in age specific rooms to dive deep into God’s word.
Do I need to Check in?
If you have kids from nursery to 5th grade, we ask that you come early to check in your children at one of our kids check in stations. Awaken Kids check-in begins at 9:45 a.m.
Do Students Meet on Sundays?
Our middle and high school students remain in the Sunday gathering to worship and serve alongside the adults. We do have Community Groups available for our MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOL students. Middle school students and our high school students meet Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. To find out more about Awaken Students click HERE.
Do You Meet Any During the Week?
Yes. First off, we are committed to LIVING ON MISSION where we live, work, play, and do life. This is our first calling during the week.
We are also a church of Community Groups, not a church with Community Groups. Community Groups are the DNA of Awaken. For information on our Community Groups, click HERE.
