Awaken Women's Retreat
Join us for the Awaken Women’s Annual Retreat—a special two-day gathering designed to refresh our hearts, deepen our faith, and remind us of the beautiful truth that we are redeemed.
We’ll gather Friday evening and Saturday morning for meaningful fellowship, shared meals, a powerful testimony, and intentional study together as we explore what it truly means to be redeemed by God. Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and renewed as we worship, connect, and discover the freedom and hope found in our redemption.

Movie In the Park - Trunk or Treat
Awaken Church Presents - Movie In the Park - Trunk or Treat at Blaney Elementary School on Saturday, October 24, from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
We will have Trunk or Treat, carnival games, crafts, popcorn, food trucks, and will be watching the movie “Monsters Inc.”
This event is open and free to the public!
We will also need many volunteers to pull off this event for Elgin and the surrounding communities.

The Amazing Race
Awaken students, join us for an epic scavenger hunt throughout NE Columbia, Lugoff, Elgin, and Camden!
Students meet at the Awaken building at 10:00am. They will divide into teams, be assigned an adult driver, and given a list of fun and challenging tasks to complete. The team that completes the most tasks in the assigned time wins! At the end of the assigned time, teams will gather at a fun, final spot (more info to come) and hang out!

Week of Prayer and Fasting
Join us August 3–9 for a special Week of Prayer & Fasting as we intentionally seek God's presence, wisdom, and direction together. Throughout the week, we invite you to set aside time each day for prayer, reflection, and fasting as the Lord leads you. Whether you're new to fasting or have participated before, this is an opportunity to grow in your faith, deepen your relationship with Christ, and unite with our church family in believing God for all He has in store.

Baptism Sunday
If you have decided to follow Christ, the next step in obedience is to be immersed in Baptism. At Awaken Church, we believe that baptism is a public declaration of saving faith in Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection, as well as the believer’s death to sin, the burial of their old life, and their resurrection to walk in the newness of life in Christ. While Baptism is a church ordinance, it does not cause a person to be born-again. Rather, it is a testimony to their faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ and the awakening of their soul through the Holy Spirit.

Awaken Women Ice Cream Social
Awaken Women, ages 16+! Please join us for our first ever ice cream social! We will provide the ice cream. All we ask is you sign up to bring your favorite toppings! This will be a fun event to fellowship and bring a friend. Sign up here!
Awaken Kids Summer Camp
Awaken Kids invites kids ages 8-12 to spend a week of overnight camp at Camp Longridge with us this Summer, July 13-17.
Enjoy a week full of fun filled activities, fellowship, worship, and growing in Christ.
Cost is $389 per camper with $75 due at registration and full balance due by June 1st.

Awaken Kids, come join us for a fun week of sports camp at Blaney Elementary School this Summer!

Fellowship Luncheon
Mark your calendars for our Churchwide Luncheon on June 28th following the partner meeting. Annual Awaken Men's Golf Tournament at The Windemere Club
All men are welcome to put a team together to come play in the tournament! All proceeds will go to funding our building debt payoff.
$70 Registration fee gets you a round of golf and two Mulligans.

Missions Car Wash
Join us for a free community car wash in our church parking lot. This event is open to the public and is a simple way for us to serve our neighbors, welcome new visitors, and build meaningful connections. While guests are here, we will also offering prayer and sharing the hope of the gospel!
